0n April 2012, last version of Audacity® is 2.0.0.0. Replacing prior versions. It comes from the version number 1.3.14, but is not a beta version, and it has important optimization from 1.2.6 version. Enjoy the new features of the application.

From the Developer to me: OSX 10.4 or later is supported, so this includes "Snow Leopard" and "Lion".

Tested on a MacBook Pro early 2011 running OS X 10.8.2

Unstable on 10.8 DP1. Crashes when setting conversion parameters.
Tested conversion to MOBI and everything worked fine. MacOS 10.8 final

Chicken of the VNC does not work well with spaces. If you use CTRL-Arrow keys to switch spaces, it leaves CotV in a strange state.

CotV is no longer supported. A new open source project "Chicken" is available.

Colloquy works fine with some minor problems.

A 2.4 release is available but it only works on 10.7 on 64-bit machines.

Won't start up in 10.8.1

Only the classic Eudora mail importers won't work for versions 7.1 and earlier. It's working just fine in Mountain Lion! Still very useful!

Because ion changed the location of Perl v5.10, one needs to setup a symlink in order for FinkCommander to work:

sudo -s
ln -s perl5.10 /usr/bin/perl5.10.0
exit

Also you must be running fink 0.31.0 or later. See the fink entry for a pedantic method of re-installing fink.

no problems found. you only have to install Java if not done already.

Fuse4X is a fork of MacFUSE started in June 2011. At that time MacFUSE project has been abandoned by the original author, the last release has been made in 2008.

First you need to install X11 2.7.2: http://xquartz.macosforge.org/trac/wiki/X112.7.2
Since Mountain Lion no longer supports X11.
Then logout, than back in.
Then install inkscape 0.48.2

The application loads and appears visually to work but the music doesn't actually play!

Compiled programs not run if Gatekeeper is enabled. It must shut down from System Settings -> Security.

I opened a project that I built before Mountain Lion and it worked.

I've been using IRSSI since Snow Leopard and have since then upgraded through Lion to Mountain Lion. The app doesn't support notification center, yet, but hopefully soon.

Initially worked fine with 10.8, now crashes immediately on launch, cause unknown.
Crashes may be related to settings, not 10.8

If it doesn't launch, reset your preferences:

~/Library/Preferences/com.heat.meteo.plist
~/Library/Preferences/com.heat.meteo.plist.lockfile

I've only tested the language removal part of Monolingual. I haven't tried the "Input Menus" or "Architectures" parts of the app.

Update
All features seem to be functioning properly in Mountain Lion.

No Retina look.

At July 14th developers made available the first version that should be working with OS X Lion: "Concurrent with the expected release of MacOS Lion, an initial version of OpenAFS is now available. More details are available on the MacOS page." Couldn't test it as I have no access to a Lion-installation.

OSXFUSE is a drop-in replacement for MacFUSE and supports Mac OS X 10.5 and later (Intel and PowerPC architecture).

Works both in Lion and Mountain Lion. Does not give error messages when fed with incompatible files or when encountering missing entries. Target MUST be specified.

Version 1.7 seems to work fine; this is with the "GDAL Complete" and "GSL Framework" prerequisites installed, all from Kyngchaos.com. Same with version 1.8

Version 1.6 has problems with GDAL plugins. Updated to 1.7 to solve this and ended up with multiple problems. Suggest removing QGIS 1.6, Grass 6.4 and then following the Kyngchaos instructions. If you get an error about reopening windows at start-up go to your "Library" (not system) then "Saved Application State" and remove the qgis file in there.

Version 1.0.0 is the last version to support Snow Leopard.

Some older, independently developed plugins won't work on versions of Quicksilver past 1.0.0 unless the plugin's developer updates them.

Some older, independently developed plugins require Quicksilver to run in 32-bit mode instead of 64-bit mode. 32- or 64-bit mode can be set by selecting the desired option in Finder's Info window for Quicksilver.app.

Runs fine under Lion and Mountain Lion, at least the 64bit version of the application.

Tested 1.5.0 stable in Mountain Lion, the 3 games I tested work fine.

Newly released version 1.4.0 (stable) works correctly in Lion. No longer crashes in fullscreen mode.

Works fine in Mountain Lion. Don't know about Lion. Previous poster said that file DLing didn't work. I dunno about that, it works in Mountain Lion. Check your active/passive status in the app if you're having problems DLing.

Works fine for me, but I've only used it with the old Shanghai II game. I'm sure there are probably plenty of issues with other applications and system features.

0.10.6 (on Lion): Exiting menus using the "x" in the upper right corner doesn't work. Can't seem to get the Stellarium window to close - with either clicking close are CMD+Q or CTRL+Q
