When I open Readiris it freezes.
I use an HP8500 Premium All in one printer/scanner/fax

But for me (Nicholas Newman - the above comment is not mine) ReadIris Pro 12 works perfectly on Lion, no matter which scanner I use (HP Officejet or Canon MG6150) which should be irrelevant anyway. But in addition I also have ReadIris Pro 14.
