Hello guys,
I am using OS X Mountain Lion on my Macbook pro 13 having 2 Gb ram and 2.26GHz of processing speed.
My Macbook is working really slow and all the applications take a lot of time to open.
Right now I cannot afford to spend money on the hardware upgrade.
Could anyone please tell me which Mac OS X is best suited (runs fastest) on this hardware specs.
Thanks

I am using the same specification with you except the Ram. I upgraded the Ram to 4Gb and it is working well. My suggestion is just upgrade the Ram and it should be running ok.
Cheers

Hey guys, I have a Macbook Pro 13 (mid 2009) with a 2gb ram and 160gb HD. Core 2 duo 2.13ghz… I'm upgrading the hardware this weekend to 320gb hd and 4gb ram. Do you think it will be able to run mountain lion normallly? or will it be slow? thanks.
