Soundflower simply doesn't work for me on Lion. The devices show up properly, Soundflowerbed runs etc. but the sound won't route.
Some problems in 10.8
Works fine in 10.7
I'm putting the finishing touches on the all-new RoaringApps, with support for Mavericks & iOS 7.
Try it out now and help me squash some bugs.

Soundflower is a Mac OS X (10.2 and later) system extension that allows applications to pass audio to other applications. Soundflower is easy to use, it simply presents itself as an audio device, allowing any audio application to send and receive audio with no other support needed. Soundflower is free, open-source, and runs on Mac Intel and PPC computers.

Another Soundflower user, axmonti, complied the source under Xcode 4.1 and had no problems, http://code.google.com/p/soundflower/issues/detail?id=109 , but he didn't distribute it. Hopefully someone reading this can throw a quick package together and give it to the masses through something like MediaFire.

Any update on a lion version? I've tried that fix by using the terminal script etc but that does not work.

Works fine here for some strange reason.

I came across a solution. You have to build it from source for Lion, luckily it's really easy. I think you need Xcode installed (free from Apple). http://kineme.net/forum/General/soundflowerforlion
