Chess hasn't been working for me at all since I upgraded to Mountain Lion. The program starts, but I can't actually play a game. It won't let me move pieces through click & drag or speech. Even on the rare occasions it actually recognizes my speech commands, it will make the sound of moving a piece, but nothing actually moves, and the computer doesn't take it's turn. Even starting a new game with computer vs. computer, nothing happens.

It's possible I'm missing something really fundamental, but I had no problem playing it on earlier iterations of OS X.

I should note that the version number is now 3.0, at least on my copy of Mountain Lion.

Oh wow… really?!

I need to take a look at this then. Noticed it but haven't had a chance to try it out yet.
