25/02/2012 : Mountain Lion. Doesn't work. Launches, activation is ok, then it always bugs immediatly.

An update for Lion resolved all the problems, and 2012 version is built FOR Lion.

Works fine on Mac Pro (early 2008).
Doesn't work on Macbook Pro (late 2010) with Nvidia Geforce 320M

Same version E.49.H.62. No problems so far. It seems Autodesk is playing the cautious role.
Keeping testing here.

Can somebody confirm that this works? I've tried reinstalling several times but it still hangs for me on the load screen.

I think i know why it doesn't work on some computers, it is because the mac has a Nvidia Geforce 320M graphics card. If it still doesn't work and you don't have that graphics card, install the beta update 3. then it should work on lion

CRITICAL: installing AutoCAD 2012 on my iMac 27'' core i5 2011, Lion became incredibly slow, issue that hasn't resolved even after AutoCAD uninstall. I reset PRAM and NVRAM, booted in safe mode with no results. System was incredibly slow, dock animation was jerky and my Core i5 looked like a PowerPC 300 Mhz. I had to restore a Time Machine backup previous to AutoCAD install to restore iMac functionality.

Please don't install AutoCAD 2012 on Lion (under Snow Leopard worked like a charm).

Autocad 2012
install only on snow leopard, then upgrade to lion(the very best way) you will got noticable performance

Agreed, is the bogging-down problem still present in Lion?
