not fully functional on my 2011 iMac. Repairing permissions fails. Otherwise, it's Ok.

There's a warning not to use with Lion. Naturally, I use it anyway. However, it doesn't do permissions, as J notes. Otherwise, IMO: can't hurt, may help. Your mileage may vary.
