Had not used my previous Onyx version since June or July 2012. Dumped the trash before I made a mental note what version it was. Also, don't recall what version of Mt. Lion was new/available in June of July '12. It had worked well on Lion back then.

Decided to start using it again. It has more finite control than yhe Magican 1.4.2 app. I use that for light duty cleaning, monitoring & Trojan/Malware Security.

Onyx Update was offered when I opened my old version. Installed it. Ran a through cleaning. The first run seems to have worked fine.

Don't make the mistake I did; not making a backup prior to running Onyx. I hope I got lucky; so far so good. For that matter, back-up first before you open any app. or Utility that works on your system. Nothing works perfectly every-time. Back-up first before you run anything that alters your System!
