This makes sense that it doesn't work, it requires a kernel extension to work and in this case, it needs to be recompiled against the new Lion's kernel.

The trial version works 100% only that it has to be relaunched every 3 hours.

Please note: Until the official version of Lion is released, there's a special version of Little Snitch that is compatible with the pre-releases of Lion.
You can find this version at:
http://www.obdev.at/products/littlesnitch/download.html
under "Little Snitch Nightly Build".
So, there _is_ a version of Little Snitch, that works fine with Lion - it's just as "unofficial" as Lion currently is :)

2.4.2 stopped working for me after the Lion 10.7.1 update.
Double-clicking the app does nothing and it's definitely no longer running in the background…..

2.4.0 does not work well in 10.7.1. Before Lion update worked well but now you can't access App Store or Software Update.

This works, but be sure to download the latest version of LittleSnitch and update your install. If you don't, you'll get loads of respawns. Check your system.log (use the Console app) for:
(at.obdev.LittleSnitchUIAgent): Throttling respawn: Will start in 10 seconds
Before Lion I never saw these.
After updating LittleSnitch these never happened again.
