Encryption was removed in 1.7, when Mountain Lion support was added. They claim it's temporary, that they are working to add this back in on some later date. This is my reason for rating it as having "some problems." A confidential diary is not confidential if it's not encrypted. This was an integral feature that is currently lacking.
