Slingplayer 1.0.10.272 was working on Lion then I upgraded to Mountain Lion and it still works fine on my MacBook Pro Retina, Mid 2012.

Same as Bryon. Ran fine on Lion and SlingPlayer 1.0.10.272 is running just fine on my MacBook Pro, Dec 2011.

Neither the Sling application nor the Sling Web Player 3.x work.

I am not sure why you are having a problem. I just ran SlingPlayer on my MBP after installing Lion and it worked with no problems. I checked the version number, it is the same version you are reporting on.
