Tried it briefly yesterday on a 21.5-inch iMac with Intel i5 processor. Sound from clips from our Panasonic P2 camera stopped working intermittently.

Tried personally, everything works actually. And by everything, I mean all of the softwares included into Final Cut Studio 3.

Jim, it seems your problem is about the P2 codec. I'm sure we'll find out a fix for that.

Everything seems to be working fine;
Except when I try to reconnect media, and scroll through files, it rubber bands back up to the top, won't let you scroll down, then 'color wheels' and never comes out of it. Tried a couple times, including a couple restarts.

If doing clean install, must install FCP 7 first then X.

There is a duplicate "Final Cut Pro 7" in Roaring Apps that says it does not work in Mountain Lion. Would someone please verify which one of these reports on Final Cut 7 is correct? It's very confusing.
