May require reinstall. I had to remove via terminal and install XQuartz before installing Gimp again.

Gimp 2.8 didn't work at first. I had to reinstall both before I could get them to work. Working fine now.

Gimp 2.8 works fine, however the display is not retina. On screen, when editing an image it looks a bit pixelated. (Or is there a way to change that?)
