If you are stuck in "conecting-loop" just change the opne vpn version to 2.2.1 in preferences. restart and everything is back up and running.

Tunnelblick 3.2 works fine on Lion.
The latest Tunnelblick 3.3 beta works on Mountain Lion.
Tunnelblick 3.2 sometimes works and sometimes doesn't — it depends on your particular network and OpenVPN setups.
