The Adobe PDF Printer driver is broken. When selected no PDF is generated and no error message displayed. Broken pdf printer also affects other adobe products like illustrator cs3. These apps will crash when trying to print. However adobe has a list of files that must be deleted and after that adobe Pdf printer stops working and stops crashing other apps if trying to print. Just be carefull not to let Acrobat repair the Pdf printer.

Registation of Adobe Acrobat Pro 8.0 might be impossible. Receive message, "We were unable to connect to Adobe to Register your product," despite javascript being enabled, connection to Internet confirmed, and firewall disabled.
