Any news on the Safenet Authentication Client new version with Lion support? Do they even acknowledge the problem? Thanks a lot!

Getting the version 8.1: search for 610-011816-002_SAC8.1Mac.zip ..
There might be some problems installing 8.1.0.4 on 10.8.
I fixed some postflight scripts to make installation work, not sure if that's required or just something wrong with my config.
Sometimes it can lockup your whole installation(aka macos x doesnt boot)

Version 8.1.0.5 on both systems (10.7 Lion and 10.8 Mountain Lion). On 10.8 is installation fail, but you can fix it with one command in terminal
sudo chmod +rx /Applications/SafeNet/SafeNet\ Authentication\ Client/
Then you can run Start SafeNet Authentication Client.app manually.

Ok… version 8.1.0.5 working well on both MacOS 10.7.4 and MacOS 10.8 for me. Anyway E-token support recommended 8.2.11 for Mountain Lion…

I downloaded version 8.1.0.5 and version 8.2.11.0 from the link in the previous comment. Version 8.1.0.5 is working fine with Mountain Lion, while version 8.2.11.0 does not even recognize the token. I noticed that the 8.2 version posted is an Evaluation Version, and I do not know if this has anything to do with it not recognizing the token.

For me version 8.1.0.5 was running ok in Lion 10.7.4 until the some procces in it started running all time like crazy hogging about 90% of my CPU. I've reinstalled it to no avail. Tried the 8.2.11.0 version and id doesn't reconize the token… It kinda looks like an Windows application.
They don't post any info about these drivers on SafeNet/Aladdin site. That's strange.
Well, after all, I wasn't being able to authenticate in the gov system I was trying to. So it wasn't a great loss. Still have to use a virtual Windows machine.

same issue here.
Tokens will show active (red light will light up)
Safenet client can be opened.
At the plugin of the token it will crash.
Need a update asap.

I receive a mail from SaFeNet, they are planning to launch 8.1 authentication Client for MAC next November 7 . It will work with Lion 10.7. X

I can't find 8.1 anywhere so I don't think they released it yet. This is very frustrating, authentication client crashes when I plug in my EToken on OS X Lion. Safenet, will you please release this new version, Lion has been out for a while now.
