RadioShark is a USB AM/FM radio. The main advantage is that the application uses very little processing power and zero bandwidth.

We do not support the use of this product in Apple's newest OS. Since it's been discontinued for some time, there are no software or driver updates planned for this product at this time.

My parents have had been using an original radioShark device and the radioShark app with their iMac since the Tiger days. Recently they upgraded to a newer iMac (core i5) running Lion and migrated everything from the old iMac's Time Machine backup (Snow Leopard). The radioShark device and app were perfectly fine for them in Lion. :-)
