American McGee's Alice is a strangely familiar, yet utterly wicked adventure. Alice answers a distress summons and returns to Wonderland. Upon her return she barely recognizes the befouled setting. From the fungal rot of the Mushroom Forest to the infernal chemistry of the Mad Hatter's Domain and beyond, Wonderland is in chaos. Undaunted by the diseased ambiance, cavernous confusion, and mortal danger that surrounds her, Alice must undo the chaos. Equipped with courage, a keen appetite for the bizarre, and a lethal array of mischievous toys, she must penetrate the stronghold of her enemies, confront the forces of evil and put the wicked Queen of Hearts in her place.

This is the first title in the American McGee's Alice series of games.

Install under an older OS first then run the updater with Lion. Adjust the game's resolution to match your monitor's capability. Will give you a black screen if you get it wrong so just delete the game's preferences and start over.

Installer is PPC and will not launch in Mountain Lion. Copying entire application folder from an older Mac (with the Universal Binary patch applied) gives an error on program launch. Attempts to re-apply patch under Mountain Lion did not fix this launch error. Will not run in Mountain Lion

This game does work with Lion. You'll need to install it under an older OS first, and then run the updated patch under Lion to be able to run it. Also, you need to check your monitor's resolutions and adjust the game to match what your monitor can do. If you make a mistake, delete the game's preferences and start over.
