multiXFinder is an Application Switcher Menu for Mac OS X Tiger, Leopard and Snow Leopard developed by me (Jack Overfull) to port my beloved ASM to modern systems.

At first it did not work when I tried to select 'Show an Application Switcher Menu'
UK MacBook Pro 5.1 (15-inch, late 2008) Lion Mac OS X 10.7.4

I reinstalled the program, without attempting to uninstall it, and voila all of a sudden it works.

I then reinstalled ASM 2.3 which had not worked for me earlier (except on Snow Leopard and the upgrade to Lion), and that program now works as well on the clean install of Lion - it has the Quit menu which seems to be missing in multiXFinder, and is one of the features I really like with ASM.

Add-on to my previous comment I have MultiXFinder and ASM installed side by side and intend to leave it like that, to ensure that I don't break something that is working, as I suspect that ASM has overwritten some of the MutiXFinder settings.

I admire this little app very much. I don’t understand how anyone can get along without it. It works in Lion, 10.7.2, once I removed it from ~Library/PrefPanes to ~User/Library/PrefPanes and then reboot. Reset the settings in System Prefs and it works. On a MBP and an i5 iMac.

I just installed v 0.41 on Lion … and it works ..
( US MacBookPro early 2011 generation, Mac OS X 10.7.2,)

the download and install worked as normal. but the Menu Icon did not appear at first. In system preferences, was unable to check/un check the show application switcher menu box. . I then switched the "Menu Width" selector box and then the icon showed up in the menu bar

a bit buggy but it worked
