If you find NetExtender crashes on establishing the VPN and doesn't teardown the pop interface and routes then reboot, remove NetExtender and re-install it.

@Geoff: regrettably, reinstallation does not solve the crashing problem for us. Since the interface and routes are left running after the NetExtender crash, eventually the Lion network stack stops working. Never thought "Did you turn it off and on again?" would be applicable to a Mac…
