Fusion did not work when i upgraded Lion from SL, at all, Fusion core would not start, app would not launch. Have since downloaded the 14.0.6 update, performed fresh install, still core will not work, nor will the app launch.

At present Suitcase Fusion 3 does not function on my iMac 3.1 i5, 8gb RAM, Lion 10.7.1

Just downloaded 14.1.0, still not working, still complaining about FMcore. Will try a clean install of the app, removing all existence of it again in a day or two. But i do not expect to see a different result. Suitcase Fusion at this time does NOT work in Lion for me.

OK, this is getting tiresome now. I've downloaded the Fusion uninstaller, ran it, have also completely deleted every single file installed by suitcase. Rebooted, ran the installer. Still WILL NOT start FMcore. It simply says it detected an incompatible version - HOW? if there is no installed version or any version running of any kind, apart from that which i have just installed. Fresh install. This is ridiculous I've been waiting since July for this update, and we've had two. Neither have made the slightest difference. Suitcase Fusion 3 does NOT WORK in Lion.

Hi Matt, I've sometimes had the same problem with my Suitcase Fusion 3 (I'm on Snow Leopard though). After googling for answers, I found a page that suggested logging out from your user account and then logging back in. I don't know what that did but it worked for me, worth a try.

Mari, Yep i've been through everything i could find to make it work, clean installs, logging out, even the terminal commands suggested by Extensis, nothing will make SF work at all. To be honest I've lost my patience with it now, frustratingly i have a friend who has had a few issues with SF and for the most part it works for him, but i still haven't managed a single startup of the app. Always complains about the SFcore being out of date, even when i've gone through the process of removing every trace of it from my system and then reinstalling clean, always the same complaint about SFcore.
