I would not have purchased the new flip HD had I known it does not support the Lion.
I may have to return the camera…..

FlipShare does not work on Lion - cannot export or edit video files. FlipShare support agrees that their most current version, 5.12, is not configured properly for Lion and that they have no updates at present.

3ivx codec gets moved to Incompatible Software upon installation of Mt. Lion from Snow Leopard. Software loads, but gives error message about missing components / updates.

the Flip is such a wonderful product! that Cisco has discontinued making it shows a company with suicidal tendencies. good reason not to own their stock.

Although FlipShare crashes when I try to export a video while running Mountain Lion, I can get it to export my video if I choose the Create … DVD function. Just FYI for others who are having the same problem of the software crashing while trying to export.

and now it is Jan. 25, 2012 and the last update was May 2011 and still no love for Lion. Come on Cisco what the heck! Is it time to ditch the Flip?!
