Reboot Mac after installing <— this should NOT be required.

On 10.8 I'm seeing some issues with sleep/clamshell mode and waking up from it. I've also seen some weird lockups when lots of photo's are taken by the app via the remote (uAlertMe) interface.

ialertU works fine under Lion. I'm seeing issues with Mountain Lion however. Sleep mode and clamshell mode on Mountain Lion have changed somewhat and this affects the way iAlertU responds when opening the lid.

Once I've had a chance to investigate this properly, my gut feeling is that we'll have a better app because the mac seems to be more like dozing than truly asleep, so I think iAlertU can be more responsive in this mode.

Time will tell. For people commenting here, if you're having trouble, it would be better if you posted your comments or issues on the iAlertU sourceforge page where I'm far more likely to see them and help if I can.

No it actually doesn't completely work under lion.
I just updated iAlertU after installing lion and the remote feature is no longer functional

oh btw its version 0.76 now. sorry just pulled the version info, but my comment still stands. .73 may have worked, but .76 is missing a few features.
