Nuance confirmed on 7/25 OmniPage Pro X for Mac has known incompatibility with Lion. My guess is since it is still compatible with OS 9 it is Rosetta based or older code.

No known dates for any potential updates were forthcoming.

Omnipage does not work on Mac OS 10.7 Lion.

Nuance confirms that Omnipage Pro X for Mac is not working in Lion, which only makes sense since it is the core code from OS 9 and not seriously updated since the inception of OSX.

Hopefully someone will step up and fill the void marketing a robust OCR tool for the Mac.
