Initial 2 seconds of recording from built-in Microphone of MacBook Pro 3,1 has static. This can be edited out of the file as it gives waveform editing by hundredths of a second.
Sometimes crashes when a recording was made and saved and another recording is initiated (New file …). After restart it works again.
