Works fine with Mountain Lion, EXCEPT that it now won't automatically download the next in Queue after one file is downloaded.

I noticed a similar issue under Mountain Lion, except that in my case Speed Download downloaded the first item twice, then the second and third prior to giving up downloading the rest in the queue.

Another issue I noticed was that with a queue in place, adding another download via a link did not start that download but instead began the first queued download.

To be fair to Yazsoft they do indicate on their Speed Download page that it is not compatible with Mountain Lion. Doesn't help if you have it already though. And they shut down their SD forums after the criticism they received over the issues they had with Lion. I am guessing that SD support is not optimal!

One more thing I have noticed; if you have a number of items in a queue and they have all been started then paused, taken out the queue then added back in again the queue will download in sequence as it should do. So, I am going to take a wild guess and say that there is an issue with the creation of a download after a queued item completes. The existence of a partial download effectively bypasses the issue.

Speed Download and all our other apps will be Lion optimized. No worries there.

after installing lion and communicating with speed download, i think it's time to give up on them. i can't download through the right click option or by clicking on the download. Anyone recommends any other download managers?

Well, we can possibly take some time to have a look at Folx, a download manager app from Eltima. Though it is not yet Lion ready, it can potentially be an alternative as the team has made the announcement.
