Daz Studio Pro 3 Advanced and Studio 4 definitely don't play well with the Lion. You can open the apps, but if you load anything or try to render, the Spinning Beachball of Death appears, and you have to force quit. Not a word on the DAZ website as to when they will address these issues. For all intents and purposes, DAZ Studio is no longer compatible.

On Lion, Studio 4 stresses out both cores of my C2D for pretty much every action. It's extremely slow, and crashes very often, probably because I manage to queue up too many calculations too quickly (like moving sliders too fast). Notable is the "save" process too which, besides now taken 6 minutes, also manages to make the progress indicator go forward *and back*. It increases to 72%, decreases back to 65% (with steps of 1), and goes "2 steps forward, 1 step back" till it finally reaches 100%. Rendering is, as you probably guessed, extremely slow too, taken up to 5-6 minutes for a scene that used to take 30-40 seconds.

… File a bug report! I for one cannot migrate the legacy content database from 3 to 4 due to a coding error! But if it don't get reported it don't get fixed!
As for 3… Cranked it up just now and my parameters tab was totally empty… QUit DS3 and relaunched it and Voila, back it came. Can't comment more on 4 as its totally unusable imo without being able to migrate the legace db.
But while still on the topic of Zan products on Lion… Bryce 7 Pro - forget it! Crash Metroplolis (you can forget Crash City!)
