Yeah i can't even do one stitch without it crashing towards the end of the actual stitch process

I've found you can work around the stitch problem by creating an empty file with the same name as your output file. So if you're exporting as test.tiff, create an empty file named test.tiff and it will finish the stitch properly. Clunky, but it works.

Stitching works fine if you use the enblend-enfuse-4.0 versions found in the Hugin archive. They don't use openmp, so are a tiny bit slower on multicore machines. I found this tip here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/hugin/+bug/814280/comments/14

Confirming Scruss's fix. It's kills multithreading, but using the enblend-enfuse-4.0 engine works.
