Yep, I got the same exact email from support. Same issue. Routes don't work.

TOPO 4.5.4 actually worked fine for me in Lion. After 10.8, the route lines are not visible. I contacted support and received this:
"Thank you for contacting National Geographic Maps, Unfortunately, TOPO! is not compatibel with Mac 10.8. TOPO! was discontinued before 10.8 was released."
