MOUNTAIN LION (10.8) Seems to open but is not working correctly. Does not download and quits unexpectedly, but stays open. Does not download.

Miro is not working with Mountain lion. It opens then within 20 seconds it says Miro unexpectedly quit please re-open, I do that and can search but I can not down load, it just seems to stay in limbo saying "Starting up" and nothing happens.
Miro was such a good program I would hate to see it goo just because of an update to Mountain Lion….. please Apple can you fix.
