I don't have a problem with PE9 crashing, but when I print the photos, the paper feeds through the printer but they come out blank. I can edit the images, but not print.

Have this app installed for some years now both under Lion (10.7) and since few days with Mountain Lion (10.8) app works fine. I have not encountered any issue.

I dont have version 9 but as I understand it the description regards Adobe Bridge CS4 is incorrect because CS4 was the organiser software allied with the previous version, 8.

Its my understanding that with version 9, the organiser is inbuilt and CS4 is no longer needed.

Joe is correct. From version 9 PSE for Mac comes with the same dedicated organiser as the Windows version.

Has anyone tested PSE 6 in Lion, and then also Bridge CS3?

Is PSE 6 compatible with Lion?

Hi, I've PS & Premiere 9 for Snow Leopard and I confirm, for PS the crashes after quitting is a problem of the software, not of the OS.

Photoshop elements 9 will not let me open iPhoto Library anymore after installing Mac Lion. Gives the error "Could not complete your request because of a program error"

Hi dcollett,

There is known crash on quitting application which happens on machines having OnONE plugin installed. If we uninstall this plug-in, PSE should not crash on quit.

Please do share of have OnONE installed?

Installed PSE9 on SL disk. Migrated to my Lion boot disk. When starting in Lion, get message “Application Moved”. If I cancel the update of location, PSE starts and works fine. But it will crash on quit.

PSE9 is now even sold via MacAppStore - at least the "Editor" Part ( the photoshop main program without the "organizer app" ). So it has to be 100% compatible. Otherwise Apple would not allow to sell it that way.

It is exactly what you would get if you install PSEL9 from DVD, run all updates and then move the organizer to the trash and just keep the Editor.

I have just bought MBP 15" OS Lion (Intel I7 quad/8 gb ram) and installed a trial version of PSE9. It crashed quite often especially when creating photo book. Anybody has any similar problem?

i have the same problem as you Rudi - PSE9 Organizer crashes every time i try to create a new smart album - I have called Adobe Support - all they could tell me was that PSE is not supported with Lion. He believed they would do in the future - but wasn't sure

Smart Album - computer freezes, but if you wait for 3 minutes or so, it unfreezes and Smart Album works!

I have been using PSE 9 on my core 2 duo 2.66 GHZ imac since it was introduced. I still run Snow Leopard, never had a crash of any kind. I don't like the application, but it works well with OS X 10.6. As for Lion, I will not upgrade, the absence of Rosetta will make the use of thousands of dollars of software worthless to me.

Since yesterday I cannot open any jpg file in PSE 9. It crashes. I can open raw in converter and then open it in edit, but when I try to save the file, it crashes. Anyone else have this problem?
