2.4.1.4 supposedly works with Lion so says the developers. Anyone try this version yet?

Here's the latest on version 2.4.2.4:

1. Fixed possible crashing and display issues in the browser plugin.

2. Numerous fixes in the licensing engine to deal with closed networks and new installations under Lion.

Following discussions on their support site and no testing done with Apple's compressor before Lion release. Proceed with caution.

We have the luxury of having a test iMac running OS X 10.7 (Lion) and as far as producing WMV files is concerned it works just as before using Compressor 3.5.3 and Flip4Mac WMV Studio Pro HD 2.3.8.1. If anything it was a fair bit quicker than before.

Appears that playing WMA files is borked.

I have just installed Mac OS X Lion and now my copy of Flip4Mac WMV Studio Pro HD works only in demo mode. This means that when I try to export a wmv file I receive this alert message: "A watermark will be permanently placed over the video and audio. To avoid the watermark, purchase Player Pro now and restart your application". I've tried to (re)activate the software with serial number I purchased on February 28, 2010, but all what I obtain is the following message: "There has been a licensing problem. Engine could not be not installed (-2003)". Can you help me to fix the problem?

Dear all, you can request the upcoming 2.4 release through our support page. 2.4 will improve Lion compatibility and also includes other fixes and improvements.

The licensing issue (engine could not be installed) will be fixed with 2.4.

DRM protected content is not supported yet.

Compressor 4 works fine with Flip4Mac.

Since updating to OS X Lion, .wmv files will not play in the QuickTime player, nor in the finder.

Hi

While DRM Content might still not be supported, this is affected scrolling in the folders. There is an error message displayed while scrolling, either through folders or through the downloads centre in the dock.

Please fix the same.

Hi there,
Telestream supportdesk has confirmed me that the problem with Flip not playing some streams and filetypes due to a problem with Apple's Lion. This means, you can't blame Telestream for not working Flip but you have to point to Apple's engineers.
Please do not ask me why Apple is not solving this problem but I think it s*cks they don't shortly.

If you go to Safari > Help > Installed Plugins, you see that there are some plugins missing. I think that they are on your computer but that Lion due to a bug the plugins can't store properly. Or they are not been written on your system at all.

Grtz.
